I'm afraid so, it does require a lot of planning. There also needs to be flower arrangements, someone who can write elegies, and knows how to organize everything. What a pity.

And I'm afraid to say even if I had, I couldn't say what it is. My kitchen staff would prepare meals for me, and I'd eat whatever they served.

Not at all! Prepare to be amazed at how good of a cook I can be!

[Nevermind that she only knows the basics considering she's too busy with work but that's fine! Smiling to herself, she quickly got the pan ready! As she boils a bit of oil to the pan, she starts getting ready to cook it up. Now she could attempt to impress him with her own fire skills but that may or may not be a good idea considering she might burn the place but!

As she continues to do so, she was eying Ayato to see if there was anything that would suggest he was amazed or not....]

Not really, I'm afraid I'm too busy with the affairs of the dead to focus on cooking. If anything, I have my friend do most of the cooking for me. She just happens to be a chef so I might as well!

I'm a little concerned with Liyue's mortality rate with the way you say that... but I can understand it. My work keeps me busy as well, after all.

That said, I can cook with for her short periods of time. My job simply does not allow time to spend with her.

I believe I'm doing fairly well. Although, if I have to honest, I could probably be doing better.

But I can't complain, not when my other best friends are here too.

I plan to! They are aware of how my cooking can be rather tasteful.

he chews, staying quiet for a long moment. honestly it's hard to tell what he thinks right away, it doesn't seem to be a good or bad reaction? it looks like he's taking this very seriously though! }

I see, so this is your take on the dish. I can't say I'm familiar with all the spices you used or this particular style of cooking, but it seems rather fine to me.

{ tasteful??? though??? who knows. } I'm sure your friends will be happy to try it.

{ he's still eating the portion she gave him, so it's obviously okay!!! }

[With that, there was a small frown. Here, she was hoping that there would be more to say but alas. It seems that her cooking was simply average. Giving a sigh, she'll just have to admit that is all she is getting.]

{ unfortunately she's competing with thoma and the traveler's cooking here, it was never going to be exceptional but he does frown in return. }

Was that not enough feedback? I don't remember if I said but I don't generally have the time to cook for myself, so I'm not sure if I could say what would be good to add. If you're willing to let me take some of this-- { he gestures at his own plate } --back with me, I could ask my friend to send you further critique.
