My name is Archer. I wanted to suggest something for the Support Group you have. Namely, I want to offer some cooking lessons, with also a focu on how to cook while out in the wilderness.

I wanted to see if you'd think there'd be use for something like that.

That does sound incredibly helpful. There are lot of people here without the ability to look out for themselves when traveling. { himself included. } Depending on how you wanted to go about it, either a business or charity would be helpful. Either way, you'd need space and equipment depending on how you wanted to do it.

I was thinking more of a "charity" for now. Who knows, maybe I'll expand in the future, but right now I have no desire to actually start a business up.

Would you have any suggestions where I might be able to ask about a space for it? You seem to have a lot of connections, which is why I contacted you.

That's the way I handled the support group, if you need assistance with the application I'm more than happy to help.

For now, if you're willing to teach locals as well, I know of a few establishments that will be likely open to the offer that may be able to help.

Of course. Have you got a list of recipes you're thinking of teaching?

I have a list of general recipes that should be easy on beginners, yet, but I can also teach people to make a specific meal.

You really are prepared. I assume you're also considering those who may venture further afield and have limited supplies for some of the recipes too?

Yes. We should be prepared for any kind of situation out on the field after all, including limited supplies of food and equipment.

True, not everyone will think to take much with them on a trip like that. Especially if they need to carry everything themselves.

Indeed. Foraging is another skill that would be important. Especially figuring out what even is edible.

I suppose normally people would refer to books or texts regarding what is safe to eat?

Yes. But I've found that the books are out of date, considering the changes that have happened due to the Darkness. So it might be time to renew those a little.

Books generally are, since they take time to write and print, by the time the news is out to the public it is dated.

That's why people depend on the internet more. But the thing about that is anyone can make up facts there. At least books are generally checked before publishing.

I noticed that. Is it the case for every page on the internet, or are there some considered more 'safe' to use as a reference than others?

Any place that is editable by anyone is unsafe; like the Wikillipsa*. Usually the information on there should be good, but it can be edited, so it's better if you confirm the information from other sources.

I see. Though if it can be posted at all, who is to say someone who says they are qualified on a topic is actually qualified?

Exactly. Usually books are confirmed and reconfirmed by various people, so they're more trustworthy in that sense.
