I see, so this is your take on the dish. I can't say I'm familiar with all the spices you used or this particular style of cooking, but it seems rather fine to me.

[With that, there was a small frown. Here, she was hoping that there would be more to say but alas. It seems that her cooking was simply average. Giving a sigh, she'll just have to admit that is all she is getting.]

{ unfortunately she's competing with thoma and the traveler's cooking here, it was never going to be exceptional but he does frown in return. }

Was that not enough feedback? I don't remember if I said but I don't generally have the time to cook for myself, so I'm not sure if I could say what would be good to add. If you're willing to let me take some of this-- { he gestures at his own plate } --back with me, I could ask my friend to send you further critique.

Thoma. { this time he'll actually give her a name, instead of evading. } Though I can't promise he'll make the time, but I can't think of anyone more capable. The Traveler would be my only other thought, I imagine she'd have some ideas of how to improve it, if you were curious. Personally I'm quite happy with it how it is, but I can understand a need to improve. Ayaka has been practicing a lot lately as well.

It seems that I don't have a choice. One day, if I have enough time, I'll be sure to contact Thoma and hopefully he can help me. Although...

Ah, that would be because I'm familiar with the Traveler as Lumine, Aether's sister. Apologies for the confusion I'm sure this will bring, but if it helps, Ayaka remembers the same as you do.

Ah, I wasn't aware that you knew Lumine as the traveler. For me, I'm afraid I remember Aether as the one who helped our world.

I wonder why that is we remember things so differently.

I'm not the only one, but it does seem to be a strange split across us all. So far the only conclusion I have is of parallel worlds of a sorts, but nothing is concrete. From what I understand the events don't seem to differ.

I see. Either way, I have yet to meet Lumine but I certainly hope she is just as friendly as Aether! From what I know, I only know of her from her brother.

I couldn't say as a comparison, but she has treated me and my family with kindness.

But yes, I would like to contact her at some point. Although, it will be rather confusing to know I won't know her.

Well, the interesting thing is that whatever embarrassing moment you had with Aether, Lumine will remember having with you as well.

No. { there's little humour to his face now. } Perhaps once or twice would be a coincidence, but the evidence suggests that all the actions they've both taken have been parallel. I'm aware that sounds rather concerning, but there is another you in a different world who met Lumine in the exact same way. If you don't believe me, feel free to ask her yourself. If the memory she recounts is the same as you remember, I expect a reward.

I talked with the stable owner I work for. He said lending horses for both horse riding lessons and expeditions is doable and that he'll be in touch with the other stable owners around to give a hand too.

Apparently they have an organization or something. The more you know.

Considering horse riding lessons carries no risk, that is quite reasonable of them. However, I would have thought they'd expect a charge as a minimum for any loaned for expeditions? Unless I misunderstood?

That's also one of the things he'll talk with the others about. How much is fair to charge. Cause he definitely thinks that it should cost something due to the risks.
