[ Ayaka does not wish to take up too much of Thoma or her brother's time today, so she is eternally grateful that they were kind enough to spare some of it for her surprise for Cloud. There's some time before Cloud shows up at Thoma's doorstep, so Ayaka isn't particularly worried that they would bump into the other.
For her own purpose here, it's just for something quick, anyway. She's made bite-sized chocolate truffle mochi and placed them in a heart-shaped boxes to give as gifts for both of them.
