a small smile is all that meets that compliment, mostly because his focus is entirely on helping him get that shirt off so they can go back to kissing. not that he won't allow himself to enjoy the scene thoma presents as he stretches to get that fabric over his head, but he has already grown rather fond of how much it feels like his mouth is melting everytime their lips connect. there's a hint of impatience as his hand curls into the hair at the back of thoma's head, holding tight so he can pull him in for another kiss.
his other hand reaches to splay against the other's ribs, soothing up and down his side, then up along his arm until it can curl up over his shoulder. he pulls them both closer together, until it's hard to tell where one of them stops and the other begins, and shifts himself so he can rock down against him. }

which is partly why he'll keep going with that slow roll of his hips, grinding them together even if the angle definitely isn't as satisfying as before. then he's tugging thoma's head slightly to the side, careful as his lips press hot against the side of his neck. it's high enough it's pretty much hidden by his hair line when teeth sink down into the skin. it isn't hard enough to bruise but it'll certainly be reddened for a little while. }
